A New Chapter for U.S. ESS Manufacturing

The South Korean battery maker announced that its Tennessee facility will begin producing LFP battery cells specifically designed for ESS applications. This launch positions LG Energy Solution as one of the first major battery manufacturers to produce LFP cells for energy storage on U.S. soil, a segment that has historically been dominated by Chinese suppliers.
